Biography - Stephanie Birdsall

Stephanie Birdsall has been a Putney Painter for the last 10 years. She is also an OPA member and a Master Pastellist with the Pastel Society of America and the International Assoc of Pastel Societies, and a signature member of The Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters. She has received more than 50 awards and been featured in numerous publications and on PBS.
She has taken her love for Plein Air into the studio always painting from life and natural light, primarily north. Along with three DVDs, she has become a sought after workshop teacher, both here and abroad. Her workshops are affectionately called boot camps, concentrating on color /light, composition, and brush strokes. The things that are important to a successful painting!
